Physical Activity in the elderly

Physical activity (PA) represents a good source of physical and mental health, where at advanced ages it helps to increase muscle strength, balance, coordination, etc. AF constitutes intentional body movement, which is performed with skeletal muscles where energy expenditure occurs (Ceballos, Bermúdez, and Medina, 2012). A search will be used mainly in the Academic Google, as well as in different database sites of articles and magazines for the compilation of information on physical activity in older adults. Where physical activity for the elderly is an important part of a healthy life where it has great importance in society, since the practice of some physical activity prevents some non- communicable diseases, as well as it can help with rehabilitation and treatment. that an analysis is made of the situation that involves physical activity in advanced ages.
